Eligibility - Criteria Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally CGA 2018

1. Soldier General Duty

Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized Board.

Age limit:
(a) Dependents 18 - 38 yrs
(b) Widow- Age should be between 18 - 40 yrs

2. Clerk (Hav)

Qualification: Intermediate or SSLC (10+2) examination Passed.

Computer Test- English typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer (35 w.p.m in English and 30 w.p.m in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each work on computer .

Age limit: Age should be between 18 to 40 yrs

3. Personal Assistant (WO)

Qualification: Intermediate or SSLC (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent.

Skill Test Norms on Computer:
(i) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
(ii) Transcription Time. 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer

Age limit: Age should be between 18-40 yrs

4. Radio Mechanic (WO)

Qualification: SSLC 10+2 pass or equivalent from a recognised Board or University with three years diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic appliances from a recognized University or Institute.

Age limit: Age should be between 18-38 years

5. Armorer (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th class pass from state or any other boards.

Age limit: Age should be between 18-38 years

6. Electrician (Rfn)

Qualification: 10 th pass and possess Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in grade,

Age limit: Age should be between 18-38 years

7. Nursing Assistant (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognised Board.

Age limit: Age should be between 18 - 38 years

8. Female Attendant (FA)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age limit:
(a) Dependents  Age should be between 18 - 38 yrs
(b) Widow - Age should be between  18 - 40 years

9. Cook (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age Limit -  Age should be between 18-38 years

10. Male Safai (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age Limit - Age should be between 18-38 years.

11. Washerman (Rfn)

Qualification: Candidates have to pass 10th Class

Age Limit - Age should be between 18-38 years.

12. Barber (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age Limit - Age should be between 18-38 years

13. Equipment Boot Repairer (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age Limit - Age should be between 18-38 years

14. Tailor (Rfn)

Qualification: 10th Class

Age Limit - Age should be between 18-38 years

Selection Process: Candidates will be tested for PFT and PET

PFT:
a) 5 km running to qualify within 24 minutes for Male Candidates
b)  1.6 Km run to qualify run within 8.30 minutes for Female Candidates
